Argegno Area Guide
If you're looking to buy a property on Lake Como the village of Argegno is becoming increasingly popular. It retains its village charm all year round and is a real lived-in village. There is a small village store, a weekly market, a vegetable shop and bakery, as well as post office and 2 banks.
Restaurants and wine bars cluster around the quaint village square with al fresco dining all year round. For a relatively small village there is a great choice of eateries for such a small village - 2 wine bars, 4 cafes, and 5 restaurants, as well as one of the best ice cream shops on the lake. It also boasts a recently opened Lido.
It is also a main stop-off point for both the ferry and the hydrofoil, as well as the lake bus, so access from the airport is very easy.
Argegno has everything to make yourself at home on Lake Como.
